First, create a property from the “Manage Custom Properties” UI to use Custom Properties. To open the “Manage Custom Properties” UI, go to Settings -> Custom Properties.
How to utilize Connecter's Custom Properties?
There are two custom property types – shared and non-shared. The shared property type allows you to predefine multiple values members can choose from when adding the property to an asset. An “Author" property with a predefined list of authors would be a good example.
The other non-shared property type allows you to define a property where users can add custom values. For example, you can create a "Due date" property so users can choose a date when adding it to an asset.
