In Connecter, managing your files and keeping your Workspace organized is a breeze. With the ability to hide and delete files, you can easily declutter your folders and focus on the assets that matter most.

Hiding Files

If you have files that you don't need at the moment but still want to keep within your Workspace, Connecter provides a convenient way to hide them:

  1. Right-click on the asset you wish to hide to open the context menu.
  2. Select the "Hide" option.

Once hidden, the file will no longer be visible in your Workspace. This can be helpful when you want to reduce visual clutter and focus on the files that are currently relevant.

To view the files you’ve hidden, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Setting" icon above the Assets View.
  2. Check the box next to "Show hidden assets.”

Now, your hidden files will be visible, allowing you to access them whenever needed. Remember to uncheck the " Show hidden assets" option in the dropdown menu to hide them again.

Unhiding Files

If you want to bring back a file that you have previously hidden, here's how:

  1. Ensure that the "Show hidden assets" option in the "Settings" dropdown menu is checked.
  2. Right-click on the file you want to unhide to open the context menu.
  3. Select the "Unhide" option.

The file will now become visible in your Workspace again. Remember to uncheck the "Show hidden assets" option in the dropdown menu to hide them once more.

Deleting Files

Occasionally, you may need to clean up your Workspace by deleting unnecessary assets, such as old or temporary files. Connecter offers a straightforward way to do so and keep your folders organized:

  1. Right-click on the file you wish to delete within your Connecter Workspace to open the context menu.
  2. Select the "Delete" option.

IMPORTANT: Please note that this is a destructive action and it’ll permanently delete the file from your Workspace and send it to the Recycle Bin of your device. Exercise caution when deleting files, as the metadata you’ve assigned them can’t be recovered once deleted.
