With the ability to hide and remove files, you can easily declutter your folders and focus on the assets that matter most. This guide will walk you through the steps of hiding and removing files using Connecter's intuitive interface.

Hiding Files

If you have files that you don't need at the moment but still want to keep within your workspace, Connecter provides a convenient way to hide them. To hide a file, follow these simple steps:

  1. Hover your mouse over the file you wish to hide.
  2. A file context menu will appear.
  3. From the context menu, select the "Hide" option.

Once hidden, the file will no longer be visible in your workspace. This can be helpful when you want to reduce visual clutter and focus on the files that are currently relevant.

To view your hidden files again, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Files" dropdown menu located in the Connecter interface.
  2. Check the box next to "Hidden files."
  3. Press the "Apply" button.

Now, your hidden files will become visible, allowing you to access them whenever needed. Remember to uncheck the "Hidden files" option in the dropdown menu to hide them again.

Unhiding Files

If you want to bring back a file that you have previously hidden, Connecter makes it easy to do so. Here's how you can unhide a file:

  1. Ensure that the "Hidden files" option in the "Files" dropdown menu is checked.
  2. Hover your mouse over the hidden file you want to unhide.
  3. Right-click on the file to open the context menu.
  4. Select the "Unhide" option from the context menu.

The file will now be restored to its original location and become visible in your workspace again. Remember to uncheck the "Hidden files" option in the dropdown menu to hide them once more.

Removing Files

Occasionally, you may need to clean up your workspace by removing unnecessary files, such as old or temporary files. Connecter offers a straightforward way to remove files and keep your folders organized. To remove a file, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the file you wish to remove within your Connecter workspace.
  2. Right-click on the file to open the context menu.
  3. From the context menu, select the "Remove" or "Delete" option.

Please note that removing a file will permanently delete it from your workspace. Exercise caution when removing files, as they cannot be recovered once deleted. If you are unsure, consider making a backup of important files before removing them.

By utilizing the file hiding and removal features in Connecter, you can maintain a clean and efficient workspace, ensuring that you focus on the assets that are essential to your work.
