The Metadata Harvester tool has a scheduling functionality allowing users to schedule how often the tool will run to update the metadata. Scheduling the harvesting process (or "runs" for short) allows team admins to automate updating content metadata fully. You can schedule daily, weekly (day of the week) or monthly (day of the month) runs, plus you can specify the time of the day they start.
Depending on the size of the asset library and how often its content gets updated, the harvesting runs may require more time to process all assets than the time between the scheduled runs. A typical case is running the Harvester for the first time and setting daily scheduled harvesting. As it's likely that the harvesting run won't be ready within 24 hours, the Harvester will skip the subsequent scheduled runs until the current run finishes.
