The Metadata Harvester can process multiple assets in parallel for maximum performance at the cost of increased resource usage. Use the "System usage affinity" setting in the "Schedule Harvesting" interface to set how many system resources the Metadata Harvester tool can use.
Choose the "High (default)" option if you run the Harvester on a dedicated machine, or set a lower usage option (Normal or Low) if it runs on a computer also used for other tasks taking system resources.
