Installing the Integration

All integrations are separate plugins that the Connecter app installs to the supported host apps, including Maya.

To manage the integration, you need to click on “Integrations” in Connecter’s menu to open the Integrations Hub. Press the “Install Integration” button in the Maya section to open the integration installation dialog.

It’ll display all Maya versions detected on your computer. You can install the integration with the “Install” button, or press the “Uninstall” button to remove it.

IMPORTANT: The integration will be installed on all Maya versions available on your computer.

NOTE: After installation of the integration, you need to restart Maya.

To complete the installation, you need to activate the plugin in Maya:

  1. Open the Windows dropdown, select “Settings/Preferences,” and then “Plug-in Manager.”

  1. Type “connecter” in the search box and tick the checkboxes.

Updating the Integration

When a new version of the Maya integration is released, you’ll receive a notification in Connecter, and the integration will update automatically.

NOTE: After the update of the integration, you need to restart Maya.

Uninstalling the Integration

To remove the integration, press the “Uninstall” button for the desired version and restart Maya.
