There are different ways to install the Blender Integration:
- Install from Blender.
- Install from the Blender Extensions Website.
- Install from disk.
Install from Blender
Open Blender, go to Edit > Preferences > Get extensions, Search for “Connecter,” and click on the Install button next to the Connecter extension.
Install from the Blender Extensions Website
Go to Connecter’s extension page on Blender’s website and click on the “Get Add-on” button.
It changes to “Drag and Drop into Blender,” so you can directly drag and drop it into the Blender app. It also gives you an additional download option.
Install from disk
You can get the plugin from Connecter -> Integrations -> Blender Integration Installer. Available options:
Get plugin
Generates a .zip archive, which can then be installed using Blender's standard workflow.
You can speed up the process by using the "Copy path to clipboard" option and placing it in the Blender installer.
Install the integration in Blender
Open Blender, go to Edit -> Preferences -> Get Extensions -> Use the drop-down menu in the top right > Install from Disk, use Ctrl + V to paste the path to the plugin, and click Install from Disk.
Or directly drag-and-drop the extension .zip package into Blender and click OK.
Now Connecter appears in the list of Installed extensions:
NOTE: After the installation, we recommend restarting Blender.
Activation
After a successful installation, go to the Add-ons section in Blender and search for "Connecter." If the add-on "Connecter" isn't enabled, click the tick box in front of it to start using it.
NOTE: If you can't find this add-on, there's a problem with the installation. Please, contact our support team.
