Use Tag Assistantās complete set of tools to build a new tagging system or enhance an existing one. While each feature can be used independently, the following steps outline the most straightforward workflow:
1. Start with predefined tag structures
- In the āTags and Templates Panel,ā browse predefined tag structures.
- Select tags based on your industry or project type, and adjust the detail level (Summary, Balanced, or Comprehensive) to control complexity.
- Click the white arrow button to add tags to the Preview Panel, where they can be reviewed and refined.
TIP: Use the āComprehensiveā detail level to maximize your chances of finding relevant tags during searches.
2. Apply icons and colors
- Use the āCustom Icons and Colors Panelā to assign unique icons and color codes to tags.
- Maintain consistency by applying similar visuals to related tags. For instance, assign the same color scheme to all project-related tags or unique icons to frequently used tags.
- Enable the āApply to Subtagsā option to apply changes to all subtags simultaneously.
3. Set your preferred language
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown in the āTags and Templatesā or āIcons and Colorsā panels.
- All tag names, aliases, and icon metadata will adjust to the selected language, making it easier to find and organize tags.
NOTE: Changing the language doesnāt update tags already added to the Preview Panel.
4. Refine and finalize in the Preview Panel
- Use the Preview Panel to review and refine your tagging structure.
- You can adjust tag names, move or delete preview-mode tags, assign icons and colors, create new subtags, and add Tag Aliases.
- Use the āUndo,ā āRedo,ā and āReset All Changesā commands to experiment without worry.
- When satisfied, click āSaveā to apply changes to your tagging system.
NOTE: This action canāt be undone, so review it carefully before saving.
