The Tags and Templates Panel offers a wide selection of predefined tag structures organized by industry-related categories, such as Architecture, Media Production, and Gaming. Each tag structure includes hierarchical subtags and comes with pre-configured icons and colors.

Here’s how to make the most of this panel:

  • Search and filter tags: You can search for tags in any language available in the language dropdown, making it easy to find tags by name or alias across multiple languages.

NOTE: Regardless of the language you use to search, results will appear in the display language you've selected from the dropdown.

  • Using the Tag Templates: Tag Templates are curated subsets of predefined tags tailored to specific industries or niches, such as Gaming, VFX, and Architecture. They streamline the discovery of tags most relevant to your work. Click a template to explore its content, deselect any irrelevant tags, and add the entire set with a single click on the white arrow button.

  • Language option: Tags are available in multiple languages. To display tags in your preferred language, select the appropriate option from the dropdown at the top of the panel. The display language only affects how tags appear in the Tags and Templates Panel and doesn’t change tags that have already been added to the Preview Panel.

  • Detail levels: Tags are offered at three levels of granularity – Summary, Balanced, and Comprehensive, each representing a different level of detail. Selecting a tag at a particular detail level allows you to adjust the complexity of your tag structure to meet specific organizational needs.

TIP: Set the detail level to “Comprehensive” when searching for tags to maximize your chances of finding relevant results.

Adding tags

To add tags to your structure, select the desired tags and click the white arrow button to send them to the Preview Panel. The tags will appear in the Preview Panel, and those in the Tags and Templates Panel will be deselected to indicate they’ve been added. You can undo this action using the “Undo” button in the Preview Panel header.

If you change the display language after adding tags to the Preview Panel, the tags you’ve added won’t update to the new language. Additionally, adding a tag in one language and then switching to another language to add the same tag will result in duplicate tags in the Preview Panel (one for each language), as they’re treated as separate entries.

Similar to the language option, changing the granularity level doesn’t affect tags already added. This lets you adjust the level dynamically to add tag structures with the granularity that best suits your needs.
