Installing the Integration
All integrations are separate plugins that the Connecter app installs to the supported host apps, including Revit.
To manage the integration, you need to click on “Integrations” in Connecter’s menu to open the Integrations Hub. Press the “Install Integration” button in Revit’s section to open the integration installation dialog.
It’ll display all Revit versions detected on your computer, and you can choose on which to install the integration. You’ll get confirmation once the process is complete.
To remove the integration, press the “Uninstall” button.
IMPORTANT: If you have multiple versions of Revit installed on your computer, the integration will have a separate installation for each version you want to use it with.
NOTE: After installation of the integration, you need to restart Revit.
Updating the Integration
When a new version of the Revit integration is released, you’ll receive a notification in Connecter. To update the integration, press the “Install Update” button in the notification.
NOTE: After the update of the integration, you need to restart Revit.
Uninstalling the Integration
To remove the integration, press the “Uninstall” button for the desired version and restart Revit.
Dedicated Instances
Some of the features in Connecter, like reading the family types and their parameters from Revit family assets (.rfa) and the Update Native Previews, utilize a separate instance of Revit.

Access the Integration in Revit
The Revit integration can’t be accessed directly from Revit. Connecter communicates with it to implement functionalities like the loading of families and projects. To learn more about the features of the Revit integration, check out this guide.
