In short, it’s not possible to log into Connecter from two computers simultaneously using the same account.
If you have a Personal Workspace created in a network-shared folder, you can access it from different devices, but only through one instance at a time. It’s important to note that if you attempt to make changes to the Workspace from two separate instances, you’ll corrupt the database and inadvertently lose access to it.
The Personal Workspace is designed for individual use and consequently doesn’t allow you to use it from more than one device at a time. If you need to share your Workspace across multiple computers, you’ll need a Connecter Suite subscription.
On that note, with a Suite Workspace, if you want to log into your account on a second device, you’ll have to end the previous Connecter instance, and you’ll be able to use the Workspace. That doesn’t mean you have to log out, but simply closing the application on the first device is enough to allow you to log in on the second one.
That applies to all cases, no matter the number of concurrent users and named or team members your subscription allows.
