Managing the Dedicated Services

To manage a Dedicated Service for a host application, open the Integrations Hub by clicking the “Integrations” button in Connecter’s menu.

If the integration is not installed yet, click on “Install Integration” next to the host application you want to use, then follow the respective setup guide:

• 3ds Max Integration Installation & Update
• Cinema 4D Integration Installation & Update
• Revit Integration Installation & Update

If the integration is already installed, click the “Manage Integration” button for the relevant host application. This opens the “Manage Integration” dialog, where you can find the “Dedicated Instances” section.

Starting the Dedicated Service

In the “Dedicated Instances” section of the dialog, you’ll see a list of the available dedicated instances for the host application. If you hover over the name of the instance, a tooltip with more details on how it’s used by Connecter will be shown.

To start a dedicated instance, press the “Start instance” button. If you have multiple versions of the host application installed on your computer, a dialog will appear listing them so you can choose which to use.

NOTE: The time required to start the dedicated instance depends on the host application's startup time.

Stopping the Dedicated Service

To stop a dedicated instance, press the “Stop instance” button.
